Good morning, this time from Punta Arenas. We are in the very south of Chile and flew here from Santiago late last night. It’s actually hard to really understand where we are at the moment when looking at the map. We are just about to go for breakfast and then we have a few hours before we continue by bus to Puerto Natales.

Crazy to even think that this is where we are!
This was our rooftop pool in the airbnb.

Yesterday we didn’t do much – chilled by the pool at our friends’ house, ate burritos and packed our bags for the hike. Everyone was pretty tired from the chilean bbq we had the night before. I love how you do bbq’s here – no one has to stand alone by the grill while everyone else sits at the table waiting. In fact, the food isn’t even eaten sat down and no one is using plates. Insead they constantly have something on the bbq that they cut into small pieces and then you eat it like that as finger food. The ”highlight” is probably the meat that they cook like this for hours.
