Happy Valentine’s Day! Today I’ve been to work, cleaned at home and done yoga. We have usually not made a big deal of Valentine’s Day, probably because the first year we were living together on Bondi Beach and it didn’t matter what day it was and we probably had chocolates every day anyway haha! It’s just a day for snuggles. This we decided that we’ll celebrate Valentine’s Day tomorrow instead because we wouldn’t really be home together tonight. We usually don’t get presents for each other on Valentine’s Day, but this year it it kind of happened and there’s a funny story.
I found the perfect birthday present for Tom a few weeks ago. He’s old winter boots split and we’ve talked about Timberlands for about two years. Accidentally, I found a pair of the right size on a massive discount so I had to get them. About two days ago Tom sent me a photo of other boots that looked the same and asked me if he should get them as they were the last pair in his size and SUPER cheap. I told him to wait a few days and when he asked me why he shouldn’t get them now before they get sold out, in the end I run out of explanations and just said I can’t discuss this with him haha! When I got home from work today there was a present, wine, chocolates and a giant lollipop on the table, together with a cute card. He had figured I might have got him expensive winter boots and felt he had to get me something too. Anyway, I’m looking forward to our date night tomorrow night! xx

Glad alla hjärtans dag! Idag har jag varit på jobb, städat och yogat. Vi har inte brukat göra en stor grej av alla hjärtans dag, kanske för det första året bodde vi tillsammans på Bondi Beach och det hade ingen skillnad vilken dag det var eftersom vi antagligen åt choklad varje dag haha! Det är en dag för att mysa.
I år bestämde vi att vi firar alla hjärtans dag imorgon i stället eftersom vi inte hade mycket tid för varann ikväll. Vi köper inte presenter åt varandra, men detta år hände det bara och det är faktist en rolig historia.
Jag hittade den perfekta presenten för Tom några veckor sedan. Hans gamla vinterskor hade spruckit och vi har talat om Timberlands säkert två år nu. Jag råkade hitta ett par i rätt storlek och de var på enorm rea så ja måste köpa dem. Typ två dagar sedan skickade Tom en bild på ett par skor som såg nästan lika ut och frågade ifall han skulle köpa dem då de var sista paret i hans storlek och EXTREMT billiga. Jag sade att han ska vänta ett par dagar och när han frågade varför han inte bara kan köpa dem hade jag inga excuses kvar utan sa bara att jag inte kan diskutera det här med honom haha! Idag då jag kom hem stod det en present, en vinflaska, choklad och en enorm slickepinne på bordet, tillsammans med ett gulligt kort. Han hade fattat att jag säkert köpt vinterskor åt honom och kännt att han måste köpa något åt mig. Jag ser fram emot vår dejtkväll imorgon! xx
